On February 1, American Airlines took delivery of the first of 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft. After two months of extensive testing, certification and training, the plane entered service on April 2 with flights from Phoenix to Orlando and back. To check out every aspect of the new bird, I booked the flight both ways.
