I would put Southland at (2009-2013) at the top of my list for best cop show. The writing for Regina King's character was great, and her acting made it real. The story arc of John Cooper was second only to Walter White in Breaking Bad, which is my segue to the best criminal show.. I thought Bosch (2014-2021) was up there, too.
