Edit after reading the other comments: I don't know about AMD, but the direct connection of the PS/2 port to the CPU hasn't been a thing for a while on Intel (it was already over on my old 4790K). I'm not saying that PS/2 is bad, less abstraction is always good, but the old arguments don't really hold anymore.
