The military base sucks. Apart from the bags, the military base sucks hard. I just finished clearing the entire base and I was overwhelmingly disappointed with the loot I got. I went there when 4 months of in-game time had passed and reaching the base was a real struggle due to the trees and bushes growing on the road and blocking my path.

In Project Zomboid, the military base can be found in the southwestern part of the map, near the town of Muldraugh.At the moment I’m making my base at the big church. It’s located in the northern part of Raven Creek close to the yellowish police station that has bin updated to look like survivors made it into a base. It’s got a huge graveyard and the main church got 3 floors.Like the military armory will give you hundreds, if not thousands of boxes of ammo. Normally only a handful of zeds you can clear quick. Flood lights from the surrounding checkpoint do a decent job of illuminating the room. The final area I wanted to showcase is a single grave outside the trailer to the North. When first exploring the checkpoint this trailer was completely boarded up with a big flag on the front. I assumed this was the HQ command post.
